Description
Bio Sponge filter is good for aquarium and provides both mechanical and biological filtration. The aerobic bacteria colonize the sponge and lend a hand break down harmful waster such as ammonia and nitrite. Good to make use of in both fresh and saltwater tanks.
Simply connect the unit with an air pump thru airline tubing and provide both aeration and filtration on your fish.
These sponge filters do not trap fish fry and are protected for small size fish like dwarf cichlid, guppy, killifish, and the like. They’re useful for as breeding filter or as secondary filter. Or they are able to be used as pre-filtration unit by fitting to an external or a top filter.
Two sizes of filter to be had – Small and Large. (1) Small filter Dimensions: 3.0″D x 6.5″H – Beneficial tank size as much as 20 Gal; (2) Large Filter Dimenons: 4.5″D x 8.0″H – Beneficial tank size as much as 40 Gal.
